what happened to that pretty row of dimes???? all i see is a bunch of puddling goober gobber welds, and contamination slag in there.

The one time I tried to weld I jumped straight into TIG and burnt the hell out of the piece of aluminum and gave up. A few weeks later I was talking to a friend that worked as a welder and he mentioned something about getting just the right position on the foot pedal. At that point the light bulb in my head lit up as I realized that it wasn’t just an on-off switch.
